Minor fixes in formalisation and solutions

Some quotes and citations were improved, and some typos were fixed. Across the project, mathematical symbols are preferred over simply surrounding them with quotation marks. The approximation due to the use of series expansion is more explicit in the solutions. Their presentation have been slightly improved for readability.
