docs: gender-neutral

Use gender-neutral language instead of masculine by default.

I don't want to force myself to adopt gender neutrality on the documentation I write, because it would require extra effort on a task that already requires a lot of energy for me. On the other hand, you can change the gender of the documentation I write afterwards, I don't mind :)
