Deno instead of Nodejs?

  • Deno website
  • Deno repository

A secure JavaScript/TypeScript runtime built with V8, Rust, and Tokio.

Deno would be able to interpret TypeScript directly. No need for transpilation to JavaScript.

This is the project from the same author of Node.js.

The project is still in early stage. But, it worth having a look.
